Our Neighborhood
Berkeley is a unique and wonderful neighborhood in Fort Worth; named Fort Worth Neighborhood of the Year in 2019 and Neighborhood of the Year for Multi-Neighborhood Partnerships by National Neighborhood USA conference. We have a distinctive blend of houses from anti-bellum design, bungalow, streamline moderne to crafstman and French creole. Most of the houses in Berkeley Place are brick or stucco houses with pointed arches and multiple roof lines. Both one- and two-story houses can be found and many have basements. Ornamental streetlights add ambiance to our neighborhood—the neighborhood is known for them. While the houses and their surroundings are magnificent, the most unusual aspect of our wonderful neighborhood is the people. We are connected by our sidewalks, and we get to know and care about our neighbors. Come enjoy this stately yet friendly neighborhood.
